Funeral Services for Matthew Corey Hendrix, 29, of Hallsville, will be held at Noon Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at Jay Valley Baptist Church with the Pastor Jayce Roberts, David Lloyd, and Kenneth Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Crain ? Smelly Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family received friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Matt was born on July 3, 1973 in Longview to Ronnie and Paula Hendrix. As a Christian, he went home to be with his Lord on March 9, 2003 at his residence.
Matt worked with his father as a journeyman electrician, and was a member of Jay Valley Baptist Church.
A loving son, brother, and grandson, Matt is survived by his parents, of Hallsville; brothers and sister-in-law, Ron and Betsy Hendrix of Hallsville, Adam Hendrix of Hallsville, Chance Hendrix of Hallsville; grandparents, Grady and Melva Singley of Longview, and Alton and Beatrice of Hallsville, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
