Maston Earl Collins
Maston Earl Collins, age 91, of Longview, passed away early Monday morning, January 30, 2017, at Colonial Village in Longview. He was a resident there for 3 years.
Maston was born August 30, 1925, in Tampa, FL to the late Martin Lomax and Ruby Irene Livingston Collins. After High School, Maston and his twin brother Murry joined the United States Navy. He served 2 ½ years in the Navy on a P.T. boat in the North Pacific during WWII.
Maston met and married the love of is life Patsy in Mount Vernon, TX. After 64 years of raising a family and living a lifetime of memories, she preceded him in death on November 27, 2013.
Maston was a longtime member of Greggton United Methodist Church and was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication to his family, his country and his God for all to follow.
Maston is survived by three children, daughters, Deborah Fuller and husband Phil of Frisco, TX, Jennifer Bean and husband Mark of Gladewater, TX and son Keith Collins of Bossier City, La; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Greggton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in White Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
