Mason Cox Garza's Obituary
Mason Cox Garza was born April 14, 2002 and passed away November 1, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Cliff Nettles and Larry Cox, his great grandparents, Nell and OK Brown and his best friends, Skyler Eddington and Austin Alexander.
Mason is survived by his mom and stepdad, Amanda and Chris Watson, his dad and stepmom, Chris and Wendy Garren, his step-dad, Jason Cox, his sister, Haylee Cox and his brother, Austin Garren. He is also survived by his stepsisters; Carissa Watson, Summer Besecke, and Gracie Bradley, his stepbrother, Austin Presley, as well as his grandparents; Lori and Steve Gregory, Dianne and Mark Whichman, and Linda and Rick Jones.
Mason loved life and was very adventurous and loved the outdoors, from fishing to riding four-wheelers and going out to the lake to hanging out with his family and friends. Mason also loved playing video games, especially with his friends and family, and was of course the best out of everyone. When it came to the Dallas Cowboys, he could argue all day as to why they were the BEST. When it came to food everyone knew no one cooked better than Mama! He could always make a bad situation turn into a good one with his cocky jokes, and his Mason bear hugs will be missed most of all. He was a polite young man, with a big heart, and was always willing to help others. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Funeral services for Mason Cox Garza will be held Friday, November 6 at 11 o'clock in the morning at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview. The burial will follow at White Oak Cemetery. A visitation will be held the night before on Thursday between 6 and 8 PM at Rader's in Longview.
