MaryAnne "Peggy" Moores
Graveside services for MaryAnne "Peggy" Moores, 84, of Jefferson will be held at 4 PM Monday, February 9, 2009 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum with Bro. Mike Brittain officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Moores was born on March 22, 1924 in Douglas, AZ. to Percival and Mabel Butler. She passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in a Longview nursing facility. She owned and operated her own antique shop and was a member of the Episcopal Church. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Henning of Ft. Riley, Kansas, Thomas Moores of Kilgore, Jessie Moores of Union City, Ca., and Christian Moores of Equador; and friends, Glennell and Ricardo Portabella of Jefferson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: SPCA or an Animal Shelter of Choice.
