Mary Sue Thompson's Obituary
Mary Sue Thompson, 55, of Longview, went home to Jesus early Saturday morning, April 5, 2014.
She was born in Seoul, Korea on June 28, 1958, to Ralph G Hamler Sr and the late Kay Hamler.
Prior to her breast cancer diagnosis, Mary was often found serving others, whether at church or schools. A strong woman of faith, one thing is without a doubt she loved God and loved people! Mary was a devoted Christian and a loving mother, Mimi and friend. Her selfless love and warm embraces will be remembered by all.
Those left to celebrate her life are her father, Ralph G Hamler Sr and wife Betty. Her sisters Nancy Spears and husband Shannon. Linda Thomas and husband Jim and her brother Ralph Hamler, Jr. Her loving children, Christina Warren and husband Barry, Samantha Dehart and husband Jeremiah, Katherine Farley and husband Jonathan, Matthew Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson and Michael Thompson. Her nephew Nicholas Spears and nieces Allyson Spears, Lydia Hamler and Isabella Thomas. As well as precious grandchildren Zoey Dehart, Karson Farley, Beckham Warren, Caitlyn Warren and Brooklyn Warren. And the countless others she had the honor of serving as a 'second mother' and closest friend.
A celebration of life memorial will take place at 10am on Tuesday at Mobberly Baptist Church.
