Mary A. Taylor's Obituary
Mary was born on November 1st, 1938, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Grover and Myrtle Beatty. In 1953 the family moved to the Central Valley of California. There she met and married her husband of 66 years, Ray Taylor. After their marriage they worked for NASA at Edward’s Air Force Base in Lancaster, California. Mary was a math aid. She worked with flight film and reduced it to data for the engineers. Her primary project was the X-15 Rocket Plane. In 1963 the family moved back to the Central Valley and ended up in Los Banos, California. Mary worked at JC Penney’s while in Los Banos. In 1982 the family moved to Longview Texas and later Gilmer, Tx. Mary eventually retired from Wal Mart.
Mary loved her many animals. Dogs, cats, chickens, llamas, mini donkeys and her Zebra. Tiffany
Mary is survived by her husband Ray. Her two children, Steve Taylor and Connie Taylor. Her granddaughters Sara Jennings (Chris) and Jaclyn Taylor (George) Her great grandsons Matthew and Karson and step great grandchildren Devin and Serena.
