Mrs. Spradley was my 2nd grade teacher in 1976-77 and was my all-time favorite teacher! Every afternoon and weekend, I would come home and pretend to be her as I "taught" my students (my brother and sister). She believed in positive reinforcement and saw the best in her students and I just adored her. I reconnected with her after I was an adult to let her know that she was my inspiration for becoming an educator. 32 years later, I'm still working in the education field. What a dear, sweet soul! I will always remember her with the fondest of memories!
