My Sweet Mary, Rest in Peace, many prayers for the family

I am so sorry to hear about Mary’s passing. I had hoped to express my condolences to the family at her funeral yesterday, but I could not attend. I worked with Mary for many years at Kilgore College. She was my administrative assistant in the Institutional Research Office for several years before she advanced to the Financial Aid Office. She was a very sweet lady was always friendly to everyone, and was a smart and very efficient worker. She loved working at KC! She loved her life and was so proud of her loving family.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mary's family during this difficult time. Mary and I were neighbors at the Chateau apartments during the 1970's. She and my husband worked at Region 7. I hosted her baby shower for Matthew. Later we worked at Kilgore College. Mary was a wonderful lady and I love her.
I was so saddened to hear of Mary's passing. While we had lost touch over the years, I still cherish the time we shared together not just as colleagues at KTPB, but as friends. She was kind, thoughtful, intelligent and a truly wonderful soul.
Keeping the entire family in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary was such a wonderful person. She and I became close friends and colleagues during our years of working together at Kilgore College. She was loyal, dedicated, thorough, tenacious, businesslike, and always thinking of how to help the students she counseled each day. We remained friends after retirement even though our visits were infrequent. She adored her family and was so proud of Matthew and Sara and Daniel and Cherie and all the grandchildren. And loved her Thom devotedly! She is gone too soon and will be missed by all who knew her.
