Mary Klein Hays Rascoe's Obituary
Mary Klein Hays Rascoe age 92, of Longview, passed away January 9, 2022. She was born October 4, 1929, in Hallsville, TX to James and Georgia Hays.
Mary was a secretary at Pinewood Park Elementary School, Hudson Elementary School, Longview High School and Librarian at Jodie McClude Elementary.
Mary and her husband Buster, who preceded her in passing, were owners of Rascoe Jewelry and Gifts for over 20 years and enjoyed setting up at Canton and other markets.
Marys husband Ira Barnell “Buster” Rascoe, parents Alvah and Georgia Evans Hays, brother Doyle Ray “Buddy” Hays and sister Billie Jean Hays Roberson all preceded her in passing.
Those left to cherish Marys memory is her daughter Gloria Tebo and her husband Joseph of Longview, TX, grandchildren Michael B. Cox of Forney, TX, John D. Cox of U.S. Army-Austin, TX, Candice Damele and her husband Matt of Carrollton, great grandchildren Julian Cox of U.S. Navy-Spain, Tatum Cox, Jamison Cox of Keller, TX, Audrey Davidson, Jackson Damele of Carrollton, TX and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, January 13, 2022 in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Public viewing will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5m-7pm at the funeral home.
