Mary Jo Pepper's Obituary
Mary Jo Pass Pepper was born on June 12, 1937 in Timpson, TX and passed away on May 18, 2023 in Gladewater, TX. Mary worked at White Oak ISD for many years and attended White Oak United Methodist Church, where she had many friends who were like family.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband James Guy Pepper, her mother and step-father Frances and Glenn Atkins, her father George Pass, sister Glenda Woods, as well as her son Bruce Pepper and grandson Joshua Miller.
She is survived by her brother Tom Atkins and wife Dee of Michigan; son Ronnie Pepper and wife Beverly of White Oak; son Mark Pepper and wife Kathy of Longview; and Daughter Lori Cannon of Longview. She was lovingly called Granny by; Stephanie Williams, Adam Pepper, Brandon Pepper, Kyndra Busha and husband Luke, Jacob Pepper and wife Lacey, Sean Pepper and wife Lillie, Morgan Patel and husband Janti, Jacob Cannon and Matthew Pepper.
She was so proud to tell others about her 20 great Grandchildren.
A heart filled thanks goes to Legend Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Gladewater and Heart to Heart Hospice for their care and compassion.
A memorial service for Mary will be held Saturday, June 3 at White Oak United Methodist Church at 11 o'clock in the morning.
