Mary Nell Duran's Obituary
Funeral services for Mary Nell Irwin Duran, age 86 of Henderson, will be held Tuesday November 24, 2009 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Bill Tisdale officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Duran died Saturday November 21, 2009 in a Nacogdoches nursing facility
Mary Nell was born July 23, 1923 in Laneville, she was an employee of Alford Investments for many years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilton E. Duran, her parents Grover & Margie Irwin, brother Thomas Irwin, sisters Fay Blanton, and Margaret Irwin Eddlemon.
She is survived by her sisters, Louise Jacks, and June Irwin both of Nacogdoches, niece Judy Blanton Chappell & husband Larry of Colleyville; nephew David Blanton of Laneville; great niece Davi Blanton Dixon & husband Ron of Nacogdoches, great niece Jennifer Chappell Fariss & husband Landon of Coppell; great great nephew Rex Blanton Dixon of Nacogdoches.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Billy Wayne Irwin, Dr. John Lynn Duran, Kenneth Gladden, Charlie Cochran, Bill Sitton, Phillip Davis, and Carlos Hunt. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James Mann, Landon Alford, and Buster Duran.
The family will meet friends from 5~7pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
