Mary Lou Huston Terrell
Graveside services for Mary Lou Huston Terrell, 90, of Tatum will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Acton Cemetery, in Acton, TX near Granbury, with Steve Brewer officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Saturday, January 21, in a Longview nursing home.
Mrs. Terrell was born May 27, 1921 in Hood County, TX to William Archie and Beulah Mae Huston. She attended Hill City Schools and was a longtime member of the band boosters and PTA in Granbury. She had been a resident of Tatum since 1999. She grew up in Granbury and was a resident of Bowie for 35 years. Mrs. Terrell was a homemaker and a longtime floral designer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Terrell; grandson, Cory Brice Roy; and brother, Buddy Huston.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Connie Lou Roy and husband James of Longview, James C. Terrell, Jr. and wife Lynn of Tatum, Limmie W. Terrell and wife Chris of Ponder, TX, and Janet Marie Wilson of Seattle, WA; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
