Rosary for Mary Lou Cruz-Hurst will be recited at 6:00pm, Thursday, March 29, 2007 in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am Friday March 30, 2007 at St. Judes Catholic
Church Father Jay Lucas, Father Victor Hernandez and Pastor
Jose Lino officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk County Memorial
Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Hurst passed away Monday March 26, 2007, in a Tyler Hospital
Following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hurst was born November 11, 1938 in Taylor, Texas. She was
a probation officer for the Rusk County Adult Probation Office. She was a member of St. Judes Catholic Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister to many.
She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. She left
Footprints in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be forever be alive
In our hearts.
Those left to cherish memories of her include: her husband, James E. Hurst of Henderson, one daughter Christine Carrizoza of Henderson, three sons
Steve Cruz & wife Sharon of Gladewater, Richard Cruz & wife Dorothy of Hallsville, Charles Cruz & wife Samantha of Austin. Four brothers Henry Vasquez & wife Rebecca of Schertz, Texas, John Norman Vasquez & wife
Mary Jane of Austin, William Leroy Vasquez of Florida, Gilbert Luis Vasquez & wife Imelda of Houston. Two sisters Mary Jane Schott & husband Richard of Austin, Mary Ellen Ledesma & Husband Braulio of
Bertram, Texas. Grandchildren Maria Rodriquez & husband Abel, Rachel
Carrizoza, , Shelby Cruz, Sidney Cruz, Selena Cruz, Raven Cruz, Scarlett
Cruz, Carmen Cruz, Clarissa Cruz, and Nikki Copeland.
Pallbearers will be Steve Cruz, Richard Cruz, Abel Lara, Alberto Hinojosa and Angel Hinojosa.
The family will receive friends following the Rosary service until 9:00PM.
