Mary Lee Osborn's Obituary
Funeral services for Mary Lee Osborn, 91, of Longview, will be held at 10 AM Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Oakland Heights Baptist Church of Longview, with the Reverend Tom Roberson officiating and Reverend Bill Hansen assisting. Burial will be at 3:30 PM in Eddy Cemetery in Eddy, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 Wednesday, March 27, at the funeral home.
Miss Osborn was born in Eddy on February 6, 1911, and went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2002. She was a resident of Dallas from 1938 to 1997, at which time she moved to Longview, Texas. She had enjoyed a career in legal and mortgage loan work prior to her retirement in 1976 from the Annuity Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
She was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Longview and the James Campbell Chapter of the D.A.R. in Highland Park, Texas.
Survivors include her sister, Ruth O. McLeroy of Kilgore; extended family, Martha Alice and Jere Ruff of Longview, Edith and Wayne Bateman and Jay Ruff of Dallas, Lori and Eric Ruff and children, Cami, Juliana and Caroline of Longview; cousins, Artie Lee Hinds and Ruth Pugh of Houston; and several other beloved cousins.
