Graveside services for Mary Kate Brinson of Longview will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Marcy 19, 2008 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Reverend Murphy Walker officiating. Entombment will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Sunday afternoon, March 16, in a Kilgore nursing facility.
Visitation will be prior to the service Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. at Lakeview.
Mrs. Brinson was born in Rusk County, Texas to Levi and Jane Langston and was a lifetime resident of the East Texas area. She was a retired secretary for Lebus Manufacturing in Longview. She was an avid bowler and a member of a local Longview bowling league. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W. W. Brinson and her son, Hal Brinson.
She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Wherry and Elsie Adams both of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
