Mary Jewel Stepp's Obituary
Graveside services for Mary Jewel Stepp, 98, of Longview, will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Reverend Larry Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 1617 Judson Rd., Tuesday evening, February 24, from 6-8 PM.
Mrs. Stepp was born September 22, 1905 in Rusk County, TX. to
John and Maud McMinn.
She passed away Saturday evening at a local care center.
Mary was a telephone operator and receptionist for the Dallas Chamber of Commerce for 25 yrs, and was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stepp was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Doyle Tacker and Vernie Stepp; a daughter, Peggy Sanders and a son, Nickey Tacker.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Betty Tacker of Garland, TX; her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Coy Jones of Longview; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to Valley View Baptist Church, 1602 Alpine St., Longview, TX , 75601.
