Graveside services for Mary Jamerson Tidwell, 78, of Longview will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Crims Chapel Cemetery in Henderson. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Tidwell passed away Thursday, April 12, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tidwell was born January 26, 1934 in Henderson, TX to Harvey and Josie Jamerson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Angela Sunday School Class. She was also a longtime member of the Rebecca Lodge in Longview.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Tidwell of Longview; daughters, Regina Robinson and husband Mike of Blue Ridge, TX and Glinda Dyer and husband Steve of Franklin, GA; sons, Harvey Pharis and wife Georgia of Longview, Benny Pharis and T. Wayne Pharis both of Kingston, NY; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Roy Jamerson and wife Janie Ruth of Longview; sister, Jannie Jamerson of Henderson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Jamerson of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for all the expressions of love and care given by Trinity Baptist Church and the Angela Sunday School Class and also to the New Horizon Church of God.
