Mrs Mary Fowler Hopkins' Obituary
Mary Fowler Hopkins, age 61, of Hallsville, TX passed away on December, 6 at Longview Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of 41 years to Weldon Hopkins.
Mary was born in Ft, Worth TX on October 18, 1952 and grew up in Longview, TX. She was the daughter of Bill and Lucille Fowler. Besides her husband, Weldon, Mary leaves her sons, Brian Hopkins of Hallsville, TX, and Chris Hopkins of Longview, TX, her daughter in-laws Brooke and Amy, and her cherished grandchildren Judd, Briley, Nate, and Blaire. As well as many other friends and family.
Mary was an incredible person that loved her family and her Lord. She found happiness in singing, gardening, baking and simply spending time with family and friends, but the true joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was a wonderful mom and an amazing Grammie.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Monday, December 9, 2013 at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating and Brother Ray Tenpenney. There will be a celebration of life service following at 2 PM at Fellowship Bible Church in Longview.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the building program at Fellowship Bible Church "The Family Tree".
