Mary Elizabeth Hall Graham's Obituary
A service of remembrance will be held for Mary Graham in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Wednesday, September23rd at 10am.The family would like to visit friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8pm. Mary went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 18, 2015.
Mary was born in Lowell, MA. to loving parents Sydney and Jessie Hall on February 21, 1924. Following her graduation from high school Mary married the love of her life, Clarence Irvin Graham in 1942. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother.
Volunteering for different organizations was her way of giving back to the community, especially for many years with Meals on Wheels.
Mary was dedicated to the Longview Bowling Community. She served as an officer on multiple leagues and over two decades on the LWBA Board of Directors. Mary was elected as a delegate to state and national conventions. She was received several awards including Member Emeritus and Life Member.
Accomplished in advanced needlepoint, her artistic pieces placed annually at the Texas State Fair earlier in life. Her love of animals shows though her artwork, especially Siamese cats.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Clarence Graham; son, Ronald Graham; and brother, James S. Hall. Those left to cherish their memories of Mary include her children, Patricia Law of Dallas, TX, Richard Graham and wife Lucy Chang-Graham of San Carlos, CA, Kelly Bunt and husband Gene of Longview; Grandchildren, Nicole Bernius, Christin Najera, Samantha and Alexandria Chang-Graham; Great Grandchildren, Kinsey Najera, Elizabeth and Zachary Bernius; she is also remembered by extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the animal rescue of their choice.
