Graveside services for Mary Frankie Weldman will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, March 16th, at Grace Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dewayne Beaty officiating. Mrs. Weldman passed away Saturday, March 12th at her home.
Mrs. Weldman was born May 19, 1905 in Longview, TX to C. E. and Bessie Whaley Hineman. Both parents were born in Gregg County and were early pioneers of Longview. Mrs. Weldman attended Longview schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Longview.
Mrs. Weldman is survived by her son Ed Roach and his wife Jackie of Longview; one grandson Sammy Roach of Atlanta, GA; one sister Amelie Moffett of Longview; three nephews, Charles E. Hineman III and Cathy of Longview, Charles M. Hineman of Austin, Bruce W. Hineman of Austin; on niece Diane Moffett Snyder of Valley Center, CA; several great and great-great nieces and nephews and a special friend Phillip Brin of Longview. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Weldman; a daughter, Carolyn Ann Roach; three brothers, Buck, Charles, and James Hineman and one sister, Elizabeth Murphy.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Mrs. Weldman?s caregivers, Nita, Theresa, Donna, and Ezell and their special thanks to the staff at Krogers for their kindness.
Memorials may be made to Greater Hospice of Texas or the First Baptist Church of Longview.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Tuesday afternoon 2 to 4 PM.
