Mary Frances Swinney's Obituary
Mary Frances Swinney, 88, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 12, 2014. Services will be held at 2 PM Friday, March 14. 2014 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Reverend Rod Skelton officiating. A graveside service will follow at Mason Cemetery in Arp, Texas.
Frances was born on September 26, 1925, Arp, Texas to H. G. “Pete” and Lucy Allen Lacy and died on March 12, 2014 in Longview, Texas. She married T. W. “Tom” Swinney on November 13, 1947 in Overton, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2010 after 62 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and a member of Mobberly Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She was an inspiration to others in her years of devoted service to her Lord Jesus Christ and her family. She will be deeply missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Barry Swinney of Neches and daughter, Debbie Martin of Longview; grandchildren, Shawn Swinney of Tyler, Laci Swinney of Tyler, and Jonathan Martin and wife, Nikke of Longview; and 3 great grandchildren, Dillon Thomas Swinney and Emilee Claire Swinney and Lynnlee Kay Martin.
