Services for Mary Florence Ouwenga will be held Tuesday morning at 10AM October 9, 2012 at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation will prior to service starting at 9AM Tuesday. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Read Obituary
Mary has been a very special friend ever since her marriage to Don. I have great memories of times we spent together, either at STARS or on the trips we took. She was very artistic, both painting shirts and pictures. She also loved doing ceramics. I will miss her sweet smile and that twinkle in her eye. Wish I could be there Tuesday, but can't. Mary and Don were in my Sunday School class, and additionally, we visited with them frequently when we would stop at their home for tomatoes. Don was a great gardner, and Mary was always right there helping him sort out the best for us. The last tomatoes my husband had Don had saved for him because he knew how sick he was and how much he enjoyed tomatoes.
Two great people, and I know you have wonderful memories.
