Memorial services for Mary Natha Ezell (Granny AKA Shorty AKA the Warden), 97, of Longview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior. Granny went to her Heavenly home on Monday, May 30, 2016, at her Residence.
Granny was born November 6, 1918, in Albuquerque N.M to Clyde and Ruby Smith. She married Charlie Ezell (Buster) in 1940. Together they had 5 Children, Richie Cochran of Henderson, Robert (Bob) Ezell of Pritchett, Donna Ezell of Longview, Jessie Ezell of Longview, and Max Ezell of Longview. Later she adopted Carl Ezell of Houston.
Granny lived in Longview, TX for over 55 years. She was an active member of the Longview Church of Christ on Eden Drive until she was unable to attend. She was a nurse for over 20 years then become a Reflexologist for almost 40 years until she was made to stop. She touched many lives and helped many in her journey on earth. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her near and far.
Granny is preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters; one brother; and her daughter Richie and son Jessie.
Granny is survived by her children Bob, Donna, and Max Ezell; sister, Jo Klunkert; 10 grandkids, 13 great grandkids, and 14 great great grandkids.
