Mary Ellen Foster's Obituary
Mary Ellen Foster of Longview, formerly of Memphis, died Tuesday morning, October 22, 2002 at home after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. Her extraordinary strength and determination and her love for her family during her long illness will always remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
Mary Ellen was born September 3, 1942 in Orlando, Florida to Mary E. and William P. Stoudt. She is survived by her son, Brad Foster of Liberty City; her daughter and son-in-law, Deana and John Templeton of Memphis, Tennessee;
two beloved grandsons, Cal & Blake Templeton of Memphis, Tenn.;
her sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Bill McMillan of Longview; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Suzanne Stoudt of Longview and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express special thanks to her loving and caring friends, Arzella Stephens, Jana Cox, Charla Rolph-Strickland, Patty Bernhardt, and many other very dear friends that gave so generously of their love and time.
Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday, October 24th at the Greggton United Methodist Church with Dr. Lynn Settlemyer officiating. Burial, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home will be at Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening 6 to 8 PM.
