Mary E. Pike Pugh
Funeral services for Mary E. Pike Pugh, 85, of Longview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. She passed away Friday evening, January 11, at Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pugh was born November 7, 1927 in Bullard, TX to Dewey and Mae Pike. She was a longtime resident of Longview and member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Pugh was employed with various local businesses in secretarial and booking positions. She was a member of the Texas Women's Bowling Association, lifetime member of the V.F.W. #1183 and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, L.C. Pugh.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Pugh and Gaylynne Gale of Longview, Darla and Raymond Rogers of Longview, and Debora and Tom Mills of Castle Rock, CO; sister, Helen Neeley of Longview; grandchildren, Stephanie Pugh, Clint Pugh, Jason Rogers, Lisa Wilkins, Laura Mills and Jennifer Mills; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
