Mary Jo Inabnet Duval's Obituary
Jo "Mary Jo" Inabnet Duval, 89, of Longview, TX, passed away on September 24, 2023. She was born on April 13, 1934, in El Paso, TX, to the late Oscar Zane "Curly" Williams and Willa Fay Parker.
Jo, as she preferred to be called, was a remarkable individual who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was known for her intelligence, loving nature, and sense of humor, which brought joy to those around her. Jo was a talented artist, specializing in pastel portraits. Her exceptional skills earned her numerous accolades, including multiple best of show awards and the prestigious national Grumbacher award, which she received twice.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Jo was a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished her role in raising her children, Paul Inabnet, Joseph Inabnet, and Kristi Applewhite, and took great pride in her four grandsons, Ryan Inabnet, Keith Inabnet, Steven Inabnet, and Nicolas Inabnet. Jo's love extended to her great-grandchildren, Tatum Inabnet, Rowdy Inabnet, Tymber Inabnet, Jackson Inabnet, Samantha Crabtree, and Braylon Reyes, who brought immense joy to her life.
Jo was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, William "Bill" Inabnet and Lawrence Duval, as well as her son, Paul Inabnet. She is survived by her son Joseph Inabnet, daughter Kristi Applewhite, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on September 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home, located at 1617 Judson Road, Longview, TX 75601. The funeral home is honored to assist the family during this difficult time.
