Scott your mother was a great lady. I worked with her many years at LHS. Praying for you and your family.

I had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Dickerson as a co-worker at Longview High School for many years. She was an inspiration to so many people through the years, and was highly regarded by the teachers, staff and students for her unique personality and knowledge of the difficult and demanding job she held for 29 years. I will always treasure the memories of this special lady and all that she did for the many individuals she encountered throughout her years at the school she loved.
I offer my condolences to the family during this difficult time and pray that the abundance of memories you shared with her will comfort you in the days ahead.

Scott, Kathy & family,
Although it has been a few years since I got to visit with your mom in person (when she was still in her home on Amherst, that my daddy built for your family back in the 60’s), I would think of her often with fond memories. She was our Camp Fire Girls’ leader when Ann & I were at Valley View/Forest Park and Ann and I were back and forth at each other’s homes when y’all lived on Willellen and we lived on Shelton. Your witty mom would make me giggle & she was a bit of a tease. I remember being fascinated with her grocery list & more importantly, her Christmas list, which she would leave conspicuously on the kitchen table for anybody to see. However, no secrets were revealed because it was written in code.... her lovely secretarial “shorthand”, as it was called back then. I suppose that’s a lost art now with computer transcription, etc. Well, enough wandering down memory lane. I look forward to heaven more and more each day. 🎶What a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory!🎶 Love & prayers for those left behind....for now. NS💟✝️️🙏🏼

“Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they brought into our lives.”
I loved Mary Nelle...she took me under her wing when we worked together at Longview High School. I can still see her raise that one eyebrow when something would be said or done with which she didn't particularly agree. She could giggle like a school girl, though. We laughed a lot and shared private jokes. Even though I haven't seen her in years, I've thought of her often. The world is poorer without her, but Heaven is much richer. My condolences to the family. Love you, Mary Nelle.
