Mary Dee Davis' Obituary
Services for Mary Dee ?MeMaw? Davis, 83, of Longview will be Wednesday, June 1, 2005, in the Rosewood Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain David Reeder officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Mrs. Davis went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 31, 2005.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence G. Davis, 1 brother Joe Shoptaugh, and daughter Irene Lucius.
She is survived by 1 sister, Jean Alexander of Tulsa, OK.; daughter, Barbara McElhaney of Longview; 3 sons: John and Pam Davis of Hallsville; Delbert and Sandra Davis of Longview; and Glenn and Vicki Davis of Gainesville; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Other survivors include special sons Charles Brannon, and son-in-law Tommy Lucius.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greater Hospice of Texas, 1905 W. Loop 281 space 81, Longview, Texas 75604.
The family would like to send out a very special thanks to Stephanie Wilson and Judy Johnson with Greater Hospice of Texas. They have been the family?s guardian angels throughout MeMaw?s illness.
