Mary Bunt Covin-Henley's Obituary
Services for Mary Henley, 91, of Longview will be graveside services at Memory Park at 2:00 pm under the direction of Raider Funeral Home. Ms. Henley passed away peacefully with family November 13, 2021 in Longview.
Mary was born in 1930 and grew up in the Walkers Mill Community outside Hallsville, TX. She graduated from Hallsville ISD as a class favorite and member of the National Honor Society. She later graduated from BMI school of business and became an executive secretary. She worked at Thiokol, Brown & Root Construction Company, and later retired with Bolster & Novy Tax Attorneys in Longview.
She loved to dance, especially waltz, water ski, and collecting coins. Mary enjoyed going to church, traveling, and camping.
Mary has many friends and three daughters. Donna Huffman Clark, Tami Covin Koesel, and Tina Covin Wengender. Grandchildren Misty Henson (Robert), Trey Huffman (Ann), Jaron Koesel, Lane Koesel, Cole Wengender, Hannah Wengender, and Ava Wengender; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mary had a special friend of many years, Jack Smith.
She will always be remembered for her Thanksgiving dressing, her pretty smile, and beautiful blue eyes. She was caring, giving, and truly loved.
Proceeded in death; her parents, Felton and Lura Bunt, sister, Elinor Russ, brother Clyde Bunt, son Ken Huffman, son-n-law David Wengender, and granddaughter, Kari Hodges.
