Mary Carolyn Morris Cooper's Obituary
Memorial services for Mary Carolyn Morris Cooper, 78, of Longview, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Longview with Rev. Mike Schutz officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at the Bethel Cemetery in Henderson under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Cooper died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at a Longview hospital.
She was born December 24, 1932 in Laneville, Texas to James Allister and Lottie Lee Russell Morris. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Longview.
Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Frank Bill Cooper, and brothers, John Wendell Morris and Don Morris.
Surviving is a son; John Cooper of Longview; daughter, Tonya Freeman and husband Judson of Chalk Hill; sisters, Josephine Thrasher of Henderson and Anita Dent of Tyler; brothers, Kenny Morris of Henderson, Dale Morris of Sugarland and Ned Morris of Kingsville; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
