Funeral services for Mary Carolyn Gold, 80 of Hallsville will be held at 10 AM Thursday, April 3, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Jeff Hastings officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Mrs. Gold was born on September 15, 1927 in Hallsville to Lonnie and Grace Cowles. She passed away on March 29, 2008 in Hallsville from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hallsville First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, George Gold of Hallsville; her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Joost Gosschalk of Boerne; sons and daughter-in-law, Mike Gold of Longview, Mark and Holli Gold of Hallsville; grandchildren, Kori and Dr. Joey Williams of San Antonio, Jonas Gosschalk of Hanford, CA., Lance Gold of Austin, Emily and Madison Gold of Hallsville; great grandchildren, Jared and Colby Williams of San Antonio; brother and sister-in-law, Nelson and Edwina Cowles of Hallsville; as well as several neices.
