Mary "Beth" Elizabeth Dennis' Obituary
Services for Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Dennis, 85, of Longview will be held at the Winterfield United Methodist Church on Monday, March 23, 2015 at ten a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Richland Cemetery in Hopkins county close to Sulphur Springs after the service at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Beth was born in Pickton, TX on December 21, 1929 to Leffel D. and Ruby Reagan. She graduated from Winnsboro, TX high School in the class of 1948. She married Troyce E. Dennis at the Axe Memorial Methodist Church in Garland, TX on August 27, 1955. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed collecting wooden hand mirrors. Beth was a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter.
Beth is survived by her husband Troyce E. Dennis of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law Dale E. and Ginger Dennis of Longview, Daniel “Danny” J. and Susan Dennis of Nevada, TX; grandchildren Jesse Dennis of Longview and Zachary Dennis of Allen, TX.
The family wishes to thank the nurses, staff and all the doctors for the dedicated and compassionate care at both Longview Regional and Select Specialty Care Hospitals. The family would like any memorial contributions be made to Winterfield United Methodist Church or charity of their choice.
