Mary B. Waldrop's Obituary
Funeral services for Mary B. Waldrop, 88, of Longview, will be 2 PM Thursday at the Winterfield United Methodist Church with Reverend Ed Barlow officiating. Graveside services and interment will be 10 AM Saturday in the Newton Masonic Cemetery, Newton, Mississippi. Rader Funeral Home, Longview, in charge of services.
Mrs. Waldrop died Wednesday morning in a local nursing home.
A native of Conehatta, Mississippi, she was born January 5, 1913 and had worked in retail sales. Mrs. Waldrop had been in Longview for the past 4 years moving from New Orleans, LA.
Survivors include daughters: Martha Thrash of Harleton, Faye Bardwell and husband Gary of Longview; Sisters: Jean Grelier and Johnnie Wasmuth, both of New Orleans, LA; Brother: William Alvin Mitchell, Jr. of New Orleans, LA.; Grandchildren: Lynn Powell of Kilgore, Sherry Vickers of Liberty City and Sheila Blasingame of Diana; Five 5 Great Granddaughters and One 1 Great Grandson. A number of nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed.
