Marvin Orlando Brewington's Obituary
A celebration of the life of Marvin Brewington and Praise to our LORD will
be held at Rader Funeral Home of Longview on Feb 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM with
Pastor Ralph Cone officiating. Graveside services with full military honors
will be at Lakeview cemetery. Mr. Brewington was born August 1, 1914 in
Paden, Oklahoma. He passed into the presence of his Lord February 16, 2008.
He served with the United States Navy in the Pacific during WW II.
He worked with Texaco Oil Company for 19 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He owned
a radio and television repair shop for seven years and then with his wife
Gladys moved to Venezuela where he worked for Exxon for 15 years. He retired
to his homestead in Oklahoma an 1971.
He is survived by one brother, Glenn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his son, Thomas and
daughter-in-law Patricia of Longview, Texas, grandchildren, Ruth wife of
Samuel Lovin of Claremore, Oklahoma, Mark, and Paul of Longview, Texas and
Glenn husband of Virginia of Clear Spring, Maryland. He has two
great-grandchildren Sarah and Seth Lovin .
