Marvin Duncan Hart's Obituary
Marvin Duncan Hart age 66 passed away November 21, 2011 at Good Shepherd Medical Center, Longview. He was born March 24, 1945 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Marvin and Ethel Hart. Growing up Marvin attended local schools in Longview. Later he worked for several boat manufacturing and repair companies. Then in April 1977 he started his own boat repair business, River City Boat Repair . He belonged to the Cherokee Fishing Club at Lake Cherokee. Marvin loved anything to do with the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was also a NASCAR fan. Marvin attended the Centre Presbyterian Church in Longview.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Monie Hart of Lake Cherokee, son, Marvin Duncan Hart Jr, and his wife Sarajon of Hallsville, daughter, Kimberlie Hart of Birmingham, Alabama, grandchildren, Jacob Michael Hart, Gabrielle Michele Bensinger, and Macklin Dell Hart. Marvin was dearly loved and will be missed by all his family and friends. He is preceded in passing by his parents and two brothers.
There will be a time of visitation Friday November 25, 2011 at Rader Funeral Home, Longview from 5pm-7pm.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Gum Springs Cemetery at 1pm then a Celebration of his Life that afternoon at the Centre Presbyterian Church,
Longview at 3pm. In Lue of flowers donations may be made to the Longview Cancer Center, 1300 North 4th ST. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
