Marvin Wayne Allen's Obituary
Marvin Wayne Allen was born in Marysville, Washington on March 2, 1947 to Marvin Ellsworth and Genevieve Smith Allen and passed away in Henderson, Texas on January 6, 2022. He married in April of 1970 to Norma F. Peterson and they had four children.
Wayne worked as an English Teacher in Carrington, ND for 7 years after graduating from the University of North Dakota. He moved to Bowbells, ND and spent the remainder of his career as an officer in Immigration and Naturalization for the US Justice Department at Northgate, ND. He was Port Director on the US/Canadian border and retired on March 3, 2007.
Wayne met Elizabeth Duran Anderson in October 2008 and moved to Henderson, TX in early 2009 where he remained until his Death.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Norma in 2004.
He is survived by his Children, Larisa Kaye Allen, Nathan Bradley Allen (Danielle), Mathew Reid Allen (Leslie), and Kristen Marie Allen. His grandchildren; Nicholas, Charles, Thomas, Benjamin, William, Guillianne, and Noah Allen, and Alyssa Peterson. Along with his brother, Marvin Lassy Allen (Karen), Sister, Lyn Allen Lang, his significant other, Elizabeth Duran Anderson and her daughter, Lindsey Danner (Ronny) and his grandchildren, Jude Mann and Holly Danner. As well as many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service and visitation for Wayne will be held Monday, January 10 at 2 pm at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson.
