Eric, I always enjoyed times I ran into your mom when I visited Longview. I’ll never forget I met her at South Ward Arlen when I was a little girl in 3rd grade and she presented prints of famous art to our class! She was a bright and beautiful lady whose smile lit up the room. Then later when we were teens snd you and I became friends, I love chatting with her here snd there. Then when my mom was at Hawkins Creek while your dad was there, I saw her several times when I was in town. Eric and family,
Your mother was always the encourager. I loved spending time with her at First Christian. She was such a joy. Growing up the boys were her life. When the grands came that all changed. I would ask “how’s Eric”. She would give a quick answer and then move right in to what the girls were doing!

I first met Martha when I was a student at G. K. Foster Elementary. She was a substitute teacher in my 6th grade class. I remember her as a beautiful lady and a terrific teacher.
