Martha Louella Rice's Obituary
Martha Louella Rice was born on December 13, 1921 in Lometa, Texas, and went home to glory on March 15, 2010.
She was blind and now she can see; was deaf and now she can hear; was
lame and now she can run. She is safe in the arms of Jesus.
Martha is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles Edward Rice, Sr.
of Hallsville; daughter-in-law Betty Rice of Longview; daughter and
son-in-law, Linda and Reid Russell of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law,
Robert and Eugenia Rice of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and
Beverly Rice of La Jora, New Mexico; eight grandchildren; eight great
grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. She was preceded in death
by son, Charles, Jr., parents, and four brothers.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning, March 17, 2010, at Memory Park Cemetery with Tyler Sams officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
