Funeral services for Martha Lee Case, 98, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, August 15, 2006 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Gordon Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemet Read Obituary

see us. She was always lots of fun.

Martha Case was one of my favorite people. When Bennie Ray and I were running around together during our high school years she was the "mama support person", the mama lady who was still in touch with her youth, and fun for young people to be around. I admired her for her warmth and grace and charm. You could always count on her to do the right thing in every situation. She remembered her friends even as the years passed and miles separated us. I can still taste the good jelly she would make and give to me when she saw me, jelly made when other people her age were completely "retired" from life. She blessed us all. All of us Burrows felt she was family, and not just connected by marriage.
