Martha Jean Holland's Obituary
Graveside services for Martha Jean Flanagan Holland, 78, of Henderson will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Lakewood Memorial Park with Rev. Frank Jones officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Holland died Monday, November 3, 2008 in a Tyler hospital.
She was born March 13, 1930 in Henderson to C.T. and Lacy Haskins Flanagan and was a life long resident of Henderson. She was a housewife, and a member of Second Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She taught her children to love and respect her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years, James Bill Holland of Henderson; son, Mike Holland and wife Beth of Henderson, daughters, Pam Howard and husband Mark of Henderson and Leanne Harwell and husband Eddie of Lufkin; sister, Jimmie Jones of Houston; five grandchildren, Karen Champion, Michelle Holland, Phillip Howard, Kirk Howard, and Lacey Hendry; two great grandchildren, Catherine Christine Champion and Kayden Hendry.
Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the Second Baptist Church.
