Martha Hillin Wallace's Obituary
Services for Martha Hillin Wallace , 73, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl E. Lundberg officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wallace died Saturday, Feb. 12th as the result of an automobile accident. She was born Nov. 14, 1931, in Rusk County to Joe Abby and Johnnie Yarbrough Hilllin. A lifelong resident of Longview and Rusk
County, Mrs. Wallace was a homemaker and a member of the Wesley-McCabe united Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lea Ann and Robby Pointer of Longview; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lyn Wallace of Longview; grandchildren: Melody Tamez, Monica Wallace, Holly Williams, Jordan Pointer and Joshua Pointer; great grandchild Taylor Tamez; brother John R. Hillin of Pensacola, Florida; sister, Sarah Parker of Tyler and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Wallace in 1999 and her brother Joel M. Hillin in 2001.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday, Feb. 16th. Memorials may be made to the Wesley-McCabe United Methodist Church, 1115 S. Mobberly Ave., Longview, TX 75602.
