Martha Ann Fortner's Obituary
Martha Ann Watson Fortner of Longview, Texas, 82, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 after an illness. She was born April 6, 1938 in Sweetwater, Texas to Truman and Lexie Watson.
Martha earned her bachelor’s degree from Mary Hardin Baylor in sociology. She worked in bookkeeping, substitute teaching and special Ed for many years. She loved flowers, reading, and loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandma.
She was a kind and loving lady.
Martha is survived by her children, Ruth Fortner, Rachel Volfberg, Paul Fortner and Esther Soliz; her sister, Mary Adams and husband, George Adams; her niece, Michele Adams; brother-in-law, Kevin Fortner; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, her mother, Lexie Watson, father, Truman Watson and her brother, Donald Ray Watson.
