I didn't know Martha but for a few years, but loved her immediately. She was so fun loving and liked to try new things. She and I went zip lining together and she was the daredevil. I will forever cherish this memory.

My condolence to family. My momories when she & family came to visit her great grandfather Plez Payne & wife Jewel & they raised me & my sister so it was so exciting to see family from Alaska! Martha was so pretty with big smile & black pretty hair & so kind! Sorry for loss.
Dear Bub and Deana,
Martha has been part of my life for over 30 years. She was my friend, my teammate and our navigator as we travel over the State of Texas attending state bowling tournaments over the years. She was fun, adventures, full of life and loved her family and grandchildren. I remember the time we were driving to San Antonio for the state tournament and we decided to take Highway 79 Martha stopped at every town’s historical marker to read that the town’s history. It was a long road trip but this was Martha’s adventures side. I will miss our casino road trips to Mississippi. We had a blast as we drove the back roads to Tunica. We had the time of our lives. Everyone thought she was my sister because we looked alike. I fondly remember the day I was at McDonald inside and Martha was in the drive thru lane and they told me that my sister was just here it took me a few seconds to realize that they were talking about Martha. It happened again on our road trip to Lubbock as we stopped to get ice cream. They ask if we were sisters and we just said yes. Rest in peace my friend. I will miss you.

Linda, I was so sorry when I learned that you had lost your sister. I remember meeting Martha at the Longview Ballet performance. She was a lovely person. Please know that you and the entire family are in my prayers as you face the days ahead. Have a safe journey back to Georgia. I miss you.
Love,

I have bowled with Martha in the State tournaments over several years as well as at the
alley in Longview. I feel blessed that I was able to do so again this year in Lubbock. I think she was the sweetest and loving person I've known. She seemed to speak kindly of
everyone. There will be huge vacant spot forever. God bless her family and know she was loved by many.

Dear Bub and Deana
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. I met Martha thru my Mother (Theresa) she was one in a million. She loved to travel and I had the pleasure of her company in Las Vegas, Vicksburg and Biloxi Mississippi and at many state bowling tournaments. She loved life to the fullest and anyone that came into Martha life became her friend. She loved her family and was so proud of you and her grandchildren. I will miss her smile, her kindness and her spirit of adventure.
