I was Martha's friend during the years of 1971 and 72, before she moved to Texas. We did keep in touch for awhile but I have always missed her smile and giggles. I still miss her and I now have the assurance of seeing her again in the company of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for keeping this tribute online so I could learn more about her life.

I was so sorry to hear about Martha's death. She was always an inspiration to me. She was a "fighter" in every sense of the wordin her nursing career and her health. I enjoyed working with her and she will never be forgotten. May God be with you and your family during this time.

I met Martha when I first started nursing school. She always took the time teach me something each time I saw her. I was also blessed to see the Nursing side of her when she cared for my Mother-in-law. I think of her often whenever I remember one of the many things she has taught me, or the smile she always wore.

Martha will surely be missed by everyone that ever got to know her. My thoughts of her always take me back to the day we all got together on the river bank and shot up what must have been $500 worth of ammunition. Those were happy times and memories of her I will always cherish.
