Mark was my younger brother. We had a good stable home life in north Texas. After I was discharged from the Marine Corps I settled down in Southern California. Pretty soon Mark moved out there to be with me. We had some good times together enjoying the Southern California life which was so different than growing up in Wichita Falls. Mark eventually moved back to East Texas to settle down. I was glad I got to see him a few weeks ago before he passed away. It’s hard to understand how he could die so quickly. He professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and I trust I’ll see him again one day.
