Mark Collier went to his heavenly home with our Lord on Tuesday July 5, 2005, passing quietly at home.
Born March 1, 1985 in Longview to Teresa Foster Collier and Robert Frank Collier, Mark had been a wonderful son and beloved little brother to sister Jennifer. Mark was an excellent student, graduating in 2003 from Pine Tree High School. He had been attending the University of Texas at Tyler. Mark was the most loving kind hearted person. He was quick to share his big beautiful smile and sparkling eyes. Although somewhat shy, Mark had a host of friends that will miss him greatly. He was known for his polite manners and the dignity with which he carried himself. He was detail and goal oriented and always wanted to do his very best at any undertaking.
At an early age, Mark developed a personal relationship with Christ and knew that despite our human failures we are saved by his grace. Mark had shared many prayers with his family members in the days prior to his passing.
Robert and Teresa Collier, Mark?s parents, along with sister, Jennifer share their grief with a large, loving extended clan. Family gatherings will never be quite the same without Mark, and yet his precious memories will always be a source of joy.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Collier, Kyle Collier, Glen Collier, Julius Loosier, Terry Foster and Cord Schuck.
