Marjoriee Anglin Denny's Obituary
A celebration of the life of Marjoriee Anglin Denny, 83, of Longview, Texas, will be 2 PM Monday, May 16, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., with Reverend Kevin Wittmayer officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Mausoleum.
Marjoriee was born September 12, 1921 in Junction City, Louisiana to Charles Robert and Carrie Lee Lear Anglin. She passed away Saturday morning, May 14, 2005 in a local care center.
Marjoriee had lived in Longview since 1984 coming from Houston, TX. She worked for the Oil News Reporter in Houston and Shreveport, LA. for 35 years and was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was a member of the Desk and Derrick in Shreveport and Bible Study Fellowship in Longview.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3-5 PM.
The family asks that memorials be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Salvation Army or St. Jude?s Ranch for Children.
Marjoriee is survived by her loving husband, William F. Denny of Longview; step daughter, Barbara Denny Johnson of Grapeland, TX; step son, William F. Denny, II of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Doyle Anglin of Haynesville, LA; grandchildren, William Johnson of Austin, TX, Jennifer Prout of Las Vegas, NV, Thomas Johnson of Houston, TX and William G. Denny of Lake Charles, LA; great grandson, Tyler Dean Johnson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
