Marjorie L. Kesner's Obituary
Marjorie L. Kesner Our beloved mother and friend, Marjorie L. Kesner, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview with the Reverend Mark Horner officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Marjorie was born October 13, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Texas as a young child. She had been a resident of Longview since 1962. Marge was employed with J.C. Penney and was personnel manager with Dillard's Department Store. Her proudest work however, was as a volunteer with Longview Regional Medical Center for 15 years where she counseled patients and families in the oncology unit. Marge was an 18 year cancer survivor. She was a longtime former member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a recent member of the Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cynthia Dowell and husband Wayne and Ann Shadwell of Longview, and Randye Jordan and husband Hoyt of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Josh Dzianott and wife Lindsey of Sapulpa, OK and Marcy Shadwell Sandefer and husband Marc of Longview; great grandchildren, Sydni Dzianott and Presley Sandefer; and nephew, Floyd C. Crane III of Mountain Home, AR and niece Patti Campbell and husband John of Lansing, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Texas Home Health Hospice, 500 E.
