Marjorie Grace Carpenter's Obituary
Funeral services for Marjorie Grace Carpenter, age 45 of Henderson, will be held Wednesday October 21, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev.Toby Tipps officiating. Burial will follow in the Overton City Cemetery.
Marjorie died Saturday October 17, 2009
She was born October 3, 1964 in Tyler to Ted & Pat Johnson Lindley. She was raised in Kilgore, but lived most of her adult life in Henderson. She was a 1983 graduate of Kilgore High School. After graduating from UT Tyler in 1987 with a Bachelors degree, she taught at Northside Intermediate School from 1988 – 2004.
Marjorie was loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her love of life and devotion to her family. She was very excited and looking forward to the upcoming birth of her grandchild in April.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Lindley.
She is survived by sons; Clayton Smith & wife Chelsea of Henderson, and Dylan Carpenter of Henderson; father Ted Linley of Kilgore;grandson Ayden of Henderson; special friend Chris Shirley of Henderson; brother Billy Ted Lindley & wife Maggie of New Iberia, La; aunt Lynn Schur of Henderson & three nieces all of New Iberia, La.
Pallbearers will be Kaleb Wade, Randy Wade, Phillip Hayden, Ricky Morris, Tony Harris, and Bob Hays.
Visitation will be from 6~8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
