Marjorie Draper Richburg
Funeral services for Marjorie Draper Richburg, 90, of Hallsville, will be at Two o'clock pm Monday March 31, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church of Hallsville with Reverend Jeff Hastings officiating. Immediately after the service, Mrs. Richburg's family will attend a private burial service in the family-owned Young Cemetery, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mrs. Richburg died Thursday afternoon, March 27, 2008 at Good Shepherd Medcial Center in Longview. She was born in 1917 in Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Draper. Mrs. Richburg was a retired Administrative Assistant, and a life-long homemaker. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Hallsville.
Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-nine years, Byron Richburg, son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Barbara Richburg of Port Aransas, son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Paula Richburg of Frisco; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Rodney Price of Hallsville; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Hallsville.
